Planning Appraisal. A leading retail group was approached by a housebuilder who intended to refurbish their headquarter office block into 35 flats.
HWO’s appraisal concluded that full demolition of the block and construction of a new lower mixed-use scheme on the boundary was preferable, since it allowed for 70 flats and 4 large retail units.
A joint presentation by CB Richard Ellis and HWO was made earlier this year to the group’s board of directors that is now considering selling with benefit of consent.
